Flying balls expeirement

Can you really make a ball fly with no strings?
Read this and do it by yourself to find out. Room 17 did an experiment to find out if you can balance a ping pong ball on a hair dryer. I do not think it will balance what do you think will happen.

Lets get the equipment get a hair dryer and a ping pong ball to see if it works get the hair dryer and turn it on so that the air is going up  put the ping pong ball on top of it and see if it works
If you did it you will see that it works because the wind is going around the ball creating a wall of wind circling around it so it can not escape the ball is also being blown up wile being pulled down by gravity so it stays at a certain height above the hair dryer.

  1. Wow Heith!
What a great post on you ping pong ball experiment.
It's cool how you have said your conclusion at the bottom with no heading saying conclusion.
I like how you have predicted that it night not work.
You are using your own knowledge.
In the starting for your introduction I like how you have said that you want the reader to read on to find out more.
It is actually pretty amazing how it actually worked.
I like how you have put the equipment in to.
If I want to try it I would need to know what the equipment would be so great job writing that down.
Your class looks as if they are pretty good scientists.
Our class is good at science too, just like your class.
I like how you have told your observation to in your second paragraph.
Did you enjoy doing that experiment?
If I were you and you asked me that question I would say yes.
It sound so interesting I want to have a go right now.
I will try it out someday.
    Well done:)
